GPCA Motions

The following motion was passed by the board of directors on 10-02-2006:

"The Board of Directors of the Great Pyrenees Club of America is adamantly opposed to any agreement or association that encourages the breeding of dogs or provides any financial gain or benefit from the sale of dogs (puppies or older dogs) that are a product of puppy mills, wholesale brokers that deal in pets, and pet store (or the like) dogs that are the product or result of puppy mills or pet brokers."

The following was passed at the 2005 Board Meetings:

"The commercial production for wholesale-to-retail distribution of Great Pyrenees, such as factory farms, retail pet shops, puppy mills, or backyard breeders is unacceptable to the GPCA and its membership."
